Privacy policy
Version of October 18, 2026. This is a translation; if it differs from the Portuguese version, the Portuguese one prevails.
This policy explains what data Dongle Slayer keeps, why, and what you can ask for, under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD). The data controller is João Pedro Pio. Contact: contact@dongleslayer.com.
1. What we keep
- Account: your email and an identifier from Google or Discord (so you can sign in; the email is also used for support and donations), and the username and hero name you choose.
- Game: the hero's progress, what they hold, the quests, messages, themes and background pictures you upload, and the feedback you send.
- Dongle: if you pair one, a code that identifies it.
- Access: technical logs with IP address and time, for security and to keep the website working; kept for a short time.
- Donations: when you donated, the amount and the method (Pix), and your customer identifier at the payment service used. Your name, email, CPF and phone number are sent to that service, which requires them for the payment; the name, CPF and phone number are not kept here.
2. What we use it for
So you can sign in and play, to show the rankings (with your username), to process donations, to protect the website against abuse and to improve the game. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
3. Who we share it with
- Google and Discord, when you sign in through them.
- Pagar.me (Stone) and Mercado Pago, to process donations (each one goes through one of them).
- Ko-fi and PayPal, for donations from outside Brazil, made on Ko-fi's website: what you enter there stays with them, not here.
- Amazon Web Services, where the website is hosted.
4. Cookies
We use only the cookies we need: one to keep you signed in and one to remember the language. The browser also keeps the theme you chose.
5. For how long
Account data is kept while the account exists. If you ask for the account to be deleted, the email and the ways to sign in are removed; the hero may still appear in past seasons' results, with no personal data. Donation records are kept for as long as the law requires.
6. Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion of the account or information about how it is used, by email at contact@dongleslayer.com.
